Christ: The Divine Will

Aligning with the Pre-eminent One

The pre-eminence of Jesus is a reality that already exists. Therefore, you do not have to do anything to make it a reality. You can only align yourself more and more with the pre-eminence of Jesus, ensuring your life is lined up behind Him because He is the pre-eminent one.

Knowing the will of Jesus has the value of causing you to make changes to your thoughts and actions to bring you into alignment with God's values. The better aligned you are, the more the graces, virtues, intentions, and purposes for which those realities will express themselves in our lives.

Our business is simply alignment and yieldedness to the Lord.

Life Beyond Personal Ambition

Life is really not about you but about the will that God has, of which you have a part. The better you align to His will, the more the authority of Christ is at work in your life. Prayer aligns you with the will of God.

Ephesians 1:20-22 - "which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church"

We are the extension of His rule in the earth. In other words, all things are to be brought into alignment with Jesus through us. Your life's value is greater than your ambition or intention.

You score points and live meaningfully only when you live a life that brings things under the rule of Christ.

The Purpose of Redemption

Jesus came to redeem what was lost.

Ephesians 1:7-9 - "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself"

What you like does not mean anything in God's agenda. Stop focusing on what you like as against what you have been called to do and be.

Called to Transform, Not Conform

You cannot copy the world because you are sent to save the world.

All men, including Christians, are either gathering or scattering. The life you have lived until now is either by gathering or scattering.

1 Corinthians 3:18 onwards - "Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise."

The wisdom of this world cannot be our modus operandi.

Recognizing the Christ

Matthew 16:16 - "Simon Peter answered and said, 'You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.'"

Mindfulness about the things of God over the things of Satan is crucial for our spiritual walk.

Divine Purpose in Every Blessing

Privileges, opportunities, open doors, enlargement, and territories are all for the purpose of bringing all things back to God.

Conclusion

Our calling is clear: to align ourselves completely with Christ's divine will. This alignment transforms us from self-centered individuals into instruments of God's kingdom purpose. Every blessing, every opportunity, every open door is not for our personal glory but for advancing God's kingdom and bringing all things under the rule of Christ.

The question we must ask ourselves is not "What do I want?" but "How can I better align with God's will?" When we make this shift, we discover that our lives take on meaning far beyond our personal ambitions, and we become part of God's grand design to redeem and restore all things through Christ.
