More than a decade ago, within the vibrant city of Ilorin in Kwara State, Nigeria, the seed of Masterpiece in Christ Church was sown. Founded with a divine mandate, this spiritual haven has been on a remarkable journey to nurture and empower a community of believers to embody the teachings and virtues of Jesus Christ. The church's humble beginnings trace back to its inaugural worship service on the 1st of May, 2011, held at the Rehoboth Guest Inn in Tanke.

Since those early days, MICC has experienced tremendous growth, both in size and influence. From its original location at the Rehoboth Guest Inn, the church has moved to its permanent site along the University of Ilorin Road in Tanke. This relocation mirrors the church's expanding congregation, individuals from diverse ethnicities, professions, and backgrounds, united by a common faith and devotion to Christ.

At the heart of MICC's mission is Ephesians 2:10, the belief that every member of the congregation is a masterpiece, intricately designed by God for a purpose. Leading this journey is the visionary founder, Rev. Dr. Shola Olayemi, who transitioned from a thriving medical career to answer the divine call of full-time ministry.

MICC stands as a testament to the power of faith. As it continues to flourish, it remains a beacon of hope, love, and spiritual nourishment for all who seek a deeper connection with Christ and a purposeful life guided by His teachings.
